A registered chartered accountant (CA)(SA), Sihaam Shamsoodien completed her articles at Deloitte Cape Town, and chose to return to academia to follow her passion for teaching and assisting students to achieve their goals. She obtained an MCom (financial reporting, analysis, and governance) from UCT in 2020, with her dissertation in the field of accounting education. Alongside teaching, she is currently pursuing further research on ethics and accounting education.
