Kathy Michell
Associate Professor, Department of Construction Economics and Management, UCT
Kathy is a quantity surveyor and facilities manager, and has been a full-time academic staff member at UCT since 1995. Her research is in the fields of corporate real estate, property management, and sustainable urban development and management. She is also a core member of the Urban Real Estate Research Unit. Kathy is the Africa regional editor for the Journal of Facilities Management, and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of African Real Estate Research. Kathy is a former president of the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession and has served on the Council for the Built Environment.
This course is approved by the University of Cape Town and is validated by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) for CPD credits. The course has an estimated 80 hours of learning and South African engineering professionals can earn up to eight CPD credits.*
